CONSTELLATIONS: MOONSHOT

In 2027 Florida, Abel Zimmerman waits to die alone in a dark old mansion. But he can’t die. A brilliant scientist, Abel was scooped from Nazi Germany. For decades, he heads the NASA space program, until he’s fired for unauthorized aging experiments. 

One fateful day, twins Zoe and Zachary Obonyo are forced by bullies to break into Abel’s moldy basement laboratory. Gifted children of an African immigrant, they’re relentlessly targeted. The Twins have no friends – until they meet Abel. He becomes the teacher they never had. And they pump the old man with a fresh, joyous life injection.

But everything good always turns sour in the twisted town of Titan, Florida. Rumours swirl: Nazi experiments on twins, bomb-making proxies, terrorist bent on revenge … predator. They’re started by Thump, the town’s Mayor who lives across the road from Abel. His sole quest is to rid the town of this “old loser perv” and tear his old house down – it’s destroying everyone’s real estate values! The FBI is called in. Abel and the Twins are refugees on the run, as Thump empties the town’s bank accounts to catch them. 

Somehow, Abel plans to hijack a scheduled NASA Artemis launch to complete his research: can his unageing body survive the stresses of space travel, paving the way for deep space missions? Can he pull it off with the FBI and military around every corner? 

Oh and a new problem – two small space stowaways.
